I am screaming and swearing right now. Even though you can't hear me. I just can't believe it!!!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarggh
It comes time for me to transmit my heart monitor data over the phone and it doesn't work.
Do you know why it doesn't work?
It wasn't switched on properly yesterday.
So the 'nice' girl at CIU says "we'll need you to come back as soon as you can to get the machine switched on properly".
It's raining, I'm not supposed to get the monitor wet at all, but I'm somehow meant to drag myself and Emmie 15km across town in the next hour.
So I explain 'nicely' that I refuse to go back over again and she can just give me the instructions over the phone on how to reset it and switch it on properly and I'll do it myself. After 10 minutes talking to the supervisor it's decided I might be competent enough to press the reset button and switch the slide to 'on'. Obviously my lack of a radiography degree means I'm might not be smart enough to do those two things. The degree sure as heck didn't help the idiot yesterday to get it right.
I am finding it difficult to express how I'm feeling right now. But it's very frustrated to say the least.
