1. bugsy malone:
   My favourite childhood movie. I loved how they made the sets smaller to mke the kids playing the roles look like adults. The music is sensational and I always wanted to be a good blend of Tallulah and Blousey.
2. choirs:
   Choral music has been a part of my life since I was four. I love singing and in a group the product is always more than the sum of individual parts. Sometimes I am frustrated that people don't seem to prioritise creating the best quality music they can.
3. cookies:
   I espeically love my 'mystery spice' cookies that I've created. Anything you can dunk in tea has got to be a truly wonderful thing.
4. feminism:
   Less of an interest and much more of a way of life. Women are strong and still under valued in society. Motherhood is the ultimate act of feminism.
5. french literature:
   French literature approachese so many elements in life from such a different perspective to anglo-saxon/US centric culture. I usually connect with the idea's being put forward more easily.
6. gelati:
   MMM. gelati. Icy cold sweet and tasty deliciousness. Especially love lemon, green apple, rockmelon, lychee, raspberry and mango.
7. janet frame:
   A mentally ill female writer that expanded my country girl mind in ways I just wasn't expecting as a 17 year old in an EN 101 class at UQ.
8. literature:
   I love the unknown interaction between author and reader. Each book is different depending on the readers perspective.
9. music geeks:
   love thyself and those like me.
10. reading:
    So many opportunities are held within the pages of each book.

Emmie is well. The surgery was successful and she is still a bit sleepy. I am so glad to have her home and hope the results come through as definitive.
