We are now the proud owners of a G5 Mac tower specs as follows.
1.8Ghz dual
768Mb Ram'
80Gig Harddrive
Superdrive (mac for dvdburner)
for a joyous $1199. Oh the results of spinning a guilt trip when you are diddled out of a firesale item!!!
The new mousey and keyboard are also very lovely. Emmie is especially fond of the 'a' and 'alt/option' buttons.

the tower weighs 23kgs and has 7 fans. We were able to transfer 4.8Gig off our old harddrive in around 6 minutes. If only illegal downloads from the internet went that quickly!
