noodella at 09:27am on 15/07/2005well I'm FINALLY putting fingers to keyboard and doing a proper update.
People on my friends list, YES I have been reading your lovely updates, though not very often commenting. I'm going through a bit of a passive phase (read lazy-arse bitch).
Apologies to all and I promise to start boring the crap out of you all again with dim-witted comments.
Canberra: awesome trip. Had an amazing blast, it was fantastic to see Teese and the screw up of a relationship he has once again managed to get himself into. (Teese I love you to death, but your habit of picking up needy, depressive European chicks studying post-grad in Australia and then complaining about it drives me nuts. That's only because you make me feel guilty about laughing at you!) Cara finally got to see snow (for an hour) and she absolutely loved it. I finally got to see Monet's waterlillies at the national gallery. *sigh* Such a stunning piece of art and it is an experience I will never forget. Cara was very disturbed by the war memorial which was the last thing we saw (once again my craptastic parenting skills come to the fore).
In-Laws: my mother in law hates me. My mother in-law asked "did the hairdresser have an accident cutting your hair?". Pretty much everything I did was wrong. Atleast they think Emmie is very cute and I find that comforting.
My mum is down for my brother's wedding. Now there's a man that shouldn't be married (nor should he have bred). A man with drug-induced schizophrenia marrying a reformed alcoholic bi-polar deaf woman. They also have twins who're are 10 months old. I'm trying to find something nice to say. no chance.
The chamber choir concert was pretty good. It was disappointing that the cathedral was only half full. So many of you didn't come, there is some serious fire setting for you people!
