Rantings of a rather strange little beast

well I was sick as when I woke up yesterday. Everytime I tried to get out of bed I felt dizzy and fell over. So I opted to sleep for about 8 hours after Shin left for work and only did the whole 'feed the baby' thing. By 5pm yesterday, I was feeling pretty well again.

Last night waws our second rhearsal with the Chilean conductor, Fracisco Rettig and I'm really enjoying what he's been doing with the Bach. I have finally marked my territory, front and centre, so I can sit on the edge of both the 1st and 2nd chorus. Now I can hear the other group I have a chance of trying to keep the 2nd sops intime and intune. Ofcourse it means the conductor stares at me, a lot but he has happy crinkle eyes and I like those. Happy crinkle eyes are cool. He's got very smooth, wrinkle free skin everywhere else, but happy crinkle eyes. That's what I'm aiming for!

Last night the "stateline" camera's were there to film us rehearsing, and the camera man came right up into my face. It was very off-putting, having a lens bigger than my head about 20 cm's away from my face. So I just continued to stare at my music, singing and didn't look up at the conductor. If anyone wants to see the choir it's on Stateline (shown in qld only), it'll be at the very end of Stateline which goes from 7:30-8pm on the ABC.

Emmie is recovering well from her tonsilitis. She's such a happy baby, it's strange that something so nasty can still not affect her charming personality.

I'm still having guilt over cheating on my mission. So now I'm throwing myself at the mercy of the gods, and at the mission wholeheartedly, and trying to make friends with the guy. I figure if he gets to know me, he really will think I'm insane. It would be so much easier if I didn't vape out and get bored everytime he opened his mouth. I'm sure I can work on it.

I dyed Lisa's hair on Tuesday night with Henna and it looks spectacular. It was this fiery glowing red under the lights in our house at 1am (when we finally finished that whole thing), I haven't seen it while she's outside, but I can imagine how cool it must look! I got a little Henna on my finger nails and ended up looking like a smoker which is totally ikky. So yesterday I got a pedicure and manicure done at this place in Carindale and now I have the coolest nail colour ever! Shin likes it alot.

I have so many rehearsals going on at the moment and it must be really hard on Shin because he's writing exams. These are the biggest exams for his year 12 Japanese class so he's a little stressed about the whole thing, but in true Shin style, there's barely a ripple on the surface. When I say he is the coolest guy, I absolutely mean it. Nothing seems to ruffle him, not even me!

I think I've waffled long enough
