Rantings of a rather strange little beast

I've woken feeling considerably calmer today. no screaming at you hyper posts this morning.

The pope died through the night. ( You can read my personal reflection on this here if you're interested )

I have also been reflecting lately on a saying that has always left me feeling uneasy.

"To err is human, but to forgive is devine"
I've always thought to forgive is human too. Actually essential to being human and essential to ensuring peace.

So I've decided to rewrite it.
"to err is human, to forgive is essential and to judge is only for the devine"

The little catholic girl in me may be feeling sad today, but the idealist is strong as ever.
